New Braunfels
Beau Walker named his company using his two sons’ middle names, West and Ridge, because he wanted his company to be relationship-oriented. Today, West Ridge Construction uses daily communications and phone apps to facilitate real-time customer communication at every phase of the design and construction process.
This West Ridge-built transitional home in New Braunfels, Texas blends contemporary and traditional elements to take full advantage of its location on the banks of the Guadalupe River. The clean two-story architecture, large floor-to-ceiling windows and open floor plan all embrace the amazing river views with a modern vibe. The barn wood accents, interior stone and walnut wood floors offer a warm and cozy feel to the home.
“This home is epitomized by the great-room feature wall that blends rustic barn wood and locally sourced stone with a contemporary Heatilator Rave linear gas fireplace and UHD LED Smart TV,” said Walker. “It’s a great representation of the contemporary and traditional elements that our client wanted to bring together in their home.”
